How do I find out what hands free car kit I need for my phone?
If you do not know, what type of handset that you have, if you simply remove the battery from the back of your phone inside should be the details of the make and model. From there we will be able to source the types of kit that will work with your phone, and recommend the best hands free solution for your specific needs.
What happens if I need to change my address to a different postcode area and can I still have my installation at the same time and place?
Where possible we will try to accommodate any changes to your installation location, we do ask for 24 hours notice if you do need to make any changes. Please give one of our co-coordinators a call to inform us of any changes that you need to make to your booking.
My vehicle is going to be in a garage on this date, can you do the installation there?
As long as the vehicle is in a suitable working order, and the garage agree that we can work on site. Please contact the garage to just confirm that it is ok for our engineer to conduct the installation there. If you can provide us a contact on site to liaise with when we get there this will help us avoid any problems when we arrive on site.
Can you tie down a set time or will I just be given and AM or PM appointment?
Unlike other companies, we tie down specific times for our engineer to arrive on site so if there is a particular time of day which is best for you please just specify when booking. On rare occasions our engineers can get caught up in traffic, in this instance we allow up to 1hour for the engineer to get to you but we will keep you informed on the engineer's progress.
How will the engineer contact me when he arrives on site?
Our engineers all call customers on the given telephone numbers when arriving on site, so please make sure that you give us the telephone number we can reach you on the day of installation.
What happens if is raining on the day of installation?
If you have anywhere the vehicle can be put under cover then we can go ahead as planned.
Will the engineer drill any holes in my vehicle?
No not if you don't want them, there are a couple of options that we recommend we can supply you with a non damaging bracket or a leather console (Depending on vehicle make and year of manufacture). Please state when booking for non damaging options.
Can I have my audio from my hands free car kit come through my vehicle speakers?
Depending on your vehicle type and audio system, we can supply the necessary part to put all audio through your vehicle speakers. Please contact us for more information on our audio mute leads.
Will my stereo automatically mute when I receive incoming or make outgoing calls?
Yes, again there are some vehicles that will not allow for this facility due the audio system in the vehicle, please check when booking in for technical information on your vehicles muting facility.
Will my mobile phone handset charge in the kit?
If you are having a cradle fitted then yes, the cradle will keep your mobile phone fully charged. If you have opted for the Bluetooth only option, then your handset will not charge your phone.
Can I pay for my installation over the phone by credit card?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards. We will forward the invoice and receipt to you.
How long does the warranty last on the install?
All kits that we supply have a 1 year warranty and all work conducted has a 3 month warranty, so in the unlikely case that something should not work as it should, please give our coordination team a call.
What happens if my vehicle is damaged from the installation?
Our engineers are covered by a liability and damage insurance. We are also members of the Federation of communication Services, an independent body which regulates our industry and ensures that safety and quality standards are upheld. All of our engineers are City and Guilds certified and also all members of the Silver Award Scheme, so rest assured that we only have the most experienced and professional installers.
